Shenandoah Valley Cultural Heritage Museum
The Shenandoah Valley Cultural Heritage Museum at Edinburg Mill is a multi-floor walk through memorabilia, antiques, artifacts, and even transportation. Exhibits touch on railroad history, river passage, the American Red Cross, the Civilian Conservation Camp, Boy Scouts of America, and much more. Expect to see homemaking accoutrements like textiles, glassware, and brooms.
The Edinburg Mill itself is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Historic Landmark Registry. Take your time enjoying the museum and then visit Edinburg Mill Restaurant on the ground floor and perhaps take home a bottle or two of wine from Heritage Mill Wines.
