World League FlingGolf (WLF)
The very first WLF Potomac Highlands regional event will be hosted by Capon Springs and Farms from April 27 through 30. It’s okay if you’re not familiar with FlingGolf; we weren’t all that in the know either. In fact, we think of it as throwing a golf ball with a lacrosse stick, but thankfully, you’ll have a chance to learn from experts to get the real gist.

Engage the top male and female players in the world as they give clinics throughout the weekend and show you how the game is really played. Owner Jonathan Bellingham is also something of an expert and may have a tip or two for you if you visit Capon at other times. He is ranked #21 in the United States. Not too shabby!
Participate or spectate during the event, whichever you prefer, but plan to enjoy the festivities accompanying play. Friday afternoon includes beer tastings from Lost Barrel Brewing. Saturday morning features an individual tourney capped with a banquet, awards, and prizes. Sunday closes the event with a family friendly best ball 9-hole team tourney.
Fun Fact: Capon Springs’ legendary water has been used to craft four Lost Barrel Brewing beers.
Spaaaahh Days
Cold days. Stressful days. Whatever type of days you’ve been experiencing, turn them into exhale days at The Hygeia Bath House & Spa.
One of the best gifts Capon Springs and Farms has ever given is the gift of winter spa days. Even when the resort is closed for stays, the spa is open. Glory! Until the resort opens in April, you can book a visit between Thursday and Sunday for a variety of services, not the least of which is a soak in the amazing roman style bath filled with natural Capon Springs spring water. Dip in before a massage to loosen muscles or after a massage to heal them. Shoot, do both!
New treatments at Hygeia include the Thai massage, a specialty facial massage, and WATSU® water therapy.
Capon Clue II: “Discover the Truth and Recover the Loot”
A new year calls for a new escape room experience, and this one is a doozie. Capon Clue II is a 60-minute continuation of 2022’s Capon Clue. Immerse yourself as you rely on light bulb moments of code cracking, riddle solving, and clue finding. Choose your teammates wisely and best of luck with your escape plan!
