Want to learn more about what foods and resources the beautiful Shenandoah Valley provides? Join us for our summer Foraging Class and explore a beautiful estate farm 15 minutes from the Inn with Master forager Clay Morris and collect seasonal wild finds. Chef Stephen Burke and Clay Morris will show you what culinary creations you can make utilizing what you collected and heirloom regional varieties. These classes will incorporate heirloom produce from our gardens and local farms and the way their unique flavors can be used in culinary creations.

Horizons Edge Summer Showcase
Introducing the Horizons Edge Summer Showcase, the ultimate one-day event for 5th through 12th grade Boys and Girls travel, local, and regional basketball teams. This is your chance to showcase your skills in front of scouts, recruiters, college coaches, and high-level teams. Participating teams will enjoy a range of perks, including highlights, t-shirts, and live streaming. Plus, we’re offering a free trial of LiveBarn for all teams, so you can relive your best moments on the court. Games will be played on Horizons Edge’s four Maplewood courts, officiated by certified referees.

The Fly BIrds Are Coming To Veramar!
Picture yourself sipping on some Veramar wine in the cool Summer breeze while smooth bluegrass music carries you to a serene mountain scene. Our Summer Bluegrass Concert featuring the local band, The Fly Birds, will drum up the opportunity for laughs, dancing, and a great time!
Our Summer Bluegrass Concert will feature the local band, The Fly Birds! These “Free Range Mountain Sirens” create an experience that is “personal, passionate, petulant; longing, lamenting, crowing, crooning.” This concert will take place at Veramar Vineyard on Saturday, June 3rd.
Gates will open at 5 PM and you can enjoy Mattie’s Soft Serve Frozen Custard, Franklin’s Smokin’ Barnyard food truck, and Veramar wine before The Fly Birds lighten the evening from 7pm to 9pm!
Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets! There are no outside coolers allowed as well as no pets permitted into the area during this event.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8.50 for our Estate Club Members. Children 12 and under get in free.
