If we ever come up with a “Coziness Capital” of Virginia it is bound to be somewhere in the Shenandoah Valley.
Tucked-away cabins in the Valley range widely in amenities, but scenic views, fireplaces, quilts, and a glass of something are common to most. The following inns, B&Bs and cabins would probably make anyone’s list of ideal spots for a cozy getaway.

The passive solar home is furnished with antiques, reproductions, quilts, and original artwork. From the top of the hill just behind the Inn, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the mountains.
NOTE: Lots of other Shenandoah Valley accommodations are comfortable and cozy, but don’t fall into the category of “cabins and B&Bs.” See many more options here.
