Visit the Newtown History Center in Stephens City, the second oldest town in the Shenandoah Valley. Wagon road settlement founded during the French & Indian War, its fame in the old VA freight wagon industry, its role in the Civil War.

Visit the historic Newtown Tavern to view exhibits on Stephens City craftsmen, Civil War history, and town history. Historic district walking tour available.
