Don McLean, best known for the iconic song “American Pie,” is one of the most revered and respected songwriters in American history. After the release of “American Pie” in 1971, McLean went on to score other mega-hits like “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night),” “Castles in the Air,” “Cryin’” and many others. Over the years, Don McLean has continued to perform and record music. Most recently, he signed a recording contract with Time Life/Warner Bros. Records to release his catalog of recordings as well as the album “Still Playin’ Favorites.”
