Our Story

It all started in 1962 when Carroll and Betty Harper launched their dream of providing quality garden and ornamental products at an affordable and reasonable price. Carroll purchased a $3 concrete-mold catalog that he had found while flipping through a gardening magazine. The Harper’s aspiration of owning their own company was sparked by the purchase of just one concrete-planter mold. According to Carroll, business was sluggish at first. But, with the dedication and the help of Carroll’s two sons, Dale and Doug Harper, Harper’s Statuary & Water Gardens has increased their product line over the years to more than 700 pieces of ornamental concrete and giftware.
