Note: On July 1st, Virginia officially entered Phase Three of Governor Northam’s reopening plan, “Forward Virginia.”
Some of the major changes include increasing the cap on social gatherings to 250 people. Restaurants and retail outlets may operate with fewer restrictions, although bars and bar areas in restaurants remain closed. Recreational sports will still require social distancing and swimming pools may be open at 75% capacity with social distancing. Museums, zoos and other outdoor venues can open at 50% capacity with a cap of 1,000 people. Face coverings are still required in indoor public spaces.
