Barren Ridge Vineyard

I-81 Exit 225. Located on the family’s former apple orchard, Barren Ridge Vineyards is now home to Augusta County’s premier winery.  John and Shelby Higgs converted their old apple barn into a state-of-the-art winery, preserving the original structure and wood beams.  The tasting room features wonderful wines that are available daily for complimentary tours and tastings.

The tasting room and winery are open daily:
Monday through Thursday from 11am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am until dark for complimentary tours and tastings. Sunday from 1pm to 6pm. Look for upcoming events.

Directions from Interstate 64:
Take Exit 91 off of I-64 (Fishersville).  Turn onto Tinkling Spring Road heading towards Fishersville.  Turn left on Route 250 West.  Just past the Food Lion turn right on Barren Ridge Road and follow for about 3 miles.  The winery is on the left at 984 Barren Ridge Road.
